The Biography of Apostle Willie G. Blakely, Jr.

In October 2009, Pastor Blakely was installed into the office of the Apostle under the covering of Apostle Phillip Whiteside of Praise & Glory Tabernacle Worship Center located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pastor Willie G. Blakely was born in Philadelphia, PA to the parents of Helen and Willie G. Blakely, Sr. (Deceased). Pastor Blakely was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System.

After Pastor Blakely's parents passed in the 1970s, he experienced a supernatural encounter with the Lord at age 21. After this divine encounter, a Christian woman (neighbor) by the name of Christina Moore, invited him into her home to live with her and the family. During this time, she trained Pastor Blakely for seven years in Biblical Principles. This was the beginning of his Biblical foundation and spiritual journey.

In year 1990, Pastor Blakely was joined in matrimony to his wife Margaret M. Blakely who serves as Co-Pastor. They have five children. Pastor Blakely started out in the ministry over twenty years ago at Deliverance Evangelistic Church. He worked in the evangelistic field and then began teaching evangelism classes. Later, he lent himself to the Hospital and Nursing Home Ministry, the Prison Ministry, Telephone Ministry and Street Evangelism...working diligently, endeavoring to do all he could for the cause of Christ.

He attended Deliverance Bible Institute and graduated after completing the required course work. He furthered his education by attending Jameson Schools of Ministry and Theology receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Education, a Masters of Arts Degree in Biblical Theology in June of 1999 and a Doctorate of Divinity in June of 2008.

Pastor Blakely is the Pastor and Founder of Open Hands Evangelistic Ministries since 1998 located in Willingboro, New Jersey area. The vision is not just for the Willingboro area, but nationwide and will expand into building a Christian school with a strong emphasis on education, a nursing home facility, a home for wayward mothers, a halfway house for men coming out of prison.

Pastor's vision extends to taking care of widows and orphans, and building a support system for drug and alcohol abuse and much more.

For over twenty years, he has been preparing himself for the office of Pastor. He is an Apostle, Evangelist, Prophet and Teacher, and indeed has truly been faithful to the work of the ministry.

The Biography of Prophetess Margaret M. Blakely

Prophetess Margaret M. Blakely was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the parents of Paul and Bernice Smallwood. Both parents were ministers and started ministry in their home, called Christ Mission. Prophetess Blakely gave her heart to the Lord at 12 years old. She was groomed for ministry by her parents and has been working in ministry for over the past 25 years.

Prophetess Margaret has worked diligently to help build community programs for other churches. God has blessed her to help start a Christian Academy and a Comprehensive Learning Program. She attended Jamison School of Ministry and Hope Christian Tabernacle Bible Institute and received degrees in Biblical Studies.

Prophetess Margaret has served alongside of her husband, Apostle Willie Blakely for 16 years. She also heads the women's ministry and assists with all other ministries that are a part of Open Hands Ministries.

Her desire is for the people of God to become Kingdom Minded. Prophetess Margaret states "As Believers, I feel the real heart-beat of God is for the Body of

Christ to become 'Kingdom Minded'. There is much that we lend ourselves to in this life, however, not enough to the Kingdom of God and how to function in it."

We must understand our priority as a believer is to apply Matthew 6:33, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

As we make God our first priority in deed, not in words, we will become more productive in our walk. As a result, those who are without Jesus Christ, will be drawn by His Spirit through our lives.
